Rangpur, Khulna and Rajshahi Divisions won their respective 2nd round four-day National Cricket League (NCL) matches on the 4th and final day at different venues across the country
on Sunday.
With the day's feat, Rangpur Division tasted the first victory in their 2nd Tier-1 NCL match beating Dhaka Metropolis team by 65 runs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday.
Earlier, Dhaka Division topped the Tier-1 list of the NCL with 2nd successive victory beating Sylhet Division by seven wickets on the 3rd day of the four-day affairs at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura on Saturday.

Chasing a target of 411 runs in the day's(Sunday) match, Dhaka Metro resumed the 2nd innings against the Rangpur with overnight total 176 for 2 and were all out for 345 runs in 78.1 overs to concede first defeat in their 2nd match.
Replying to Rangpur Division's totals 119 and 464 runs, Dhaka Metro scored 173 in the first innings and 345 runs in the 2nd innings, featuring a century by Mohammad Naim.
Dhaka Metro opening batsman Mohammad Naim, who was batting with 96 runs, finally scored 120 runs off 124 balls hitting 13 fours and four sixes in the 2nd innings,but failed to escape defeat.
In the Tier-2 NCL match at Sylhet International Stadium, Khulna Division managed a one-wicket victory over Chattogram Division on the final day (Sunday).

Chasing a target of 133 runs in the 2nd innings, Khulna Division resumed innings with overnight total 102 for 6 and reached their target scoring 136 for 9 in 42.1 over to win the match.
Replying to Chattagram Division total 242 and 175 runs in two innings, Khulna Division with first innings total 285 runs, resumed the 2nd innings with an easy target and reached their ultimate goal.
In the another Tier-2 NCL match at Rajshahi Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium, hosts Rajshahi beat Barisal Division by nine runs on the final day (Sunday).
Replying to Rajshahi Division's total 209 and 192 runs, Barisal Division with first innings total 233 runs, resumed the 2nd innings with overnight total 111 for 6, targeting 169 runs to win, but were all out for 159 in 61.3 overs to concede nine runs defeat.
