Dhaka, Oct 8 (UNB) – Dhaka Metropolis left arm spinner Arafat Sunny grabbed seven wickets for 57 runs to bundle out Dhaka Division for 206 runs in 75 overs in the first innings on the first day of the 2nd round Tier-2 match of the four-day National Cricket League at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah on Monday.

Number six batsman Taibur Rahman contributed team highest 88 runs off 122 balls hitting eight boundaries while RonyTalukder added 30 and Moshrraf Hossain 27 runs.

Apart from Arafat Sunny’s seven-wicket haul, former national captain Mohammad Ashraful claimed two wickets for 19 runs. 

In reply, Dhaka Metro opened the first innings and scored 26 for no loss in 13 overs at the end of the day to trail by 180 runs with all 10 wickets in hand with Shykat Ali and Shadman Islam batting on 21 and four respectively.
