Having 142/10 in 53.4 overs in the first innings, Chattogram opened the second innings and scored 135*/3 in 39 overs, at stumps, on the day with skipper Mominul Haque top-scoring 62 off 67 balls, including six boundaries and one six.

Tasamul Haque [33* off 70b; 4x4] and Saeed Sarkar [6* off 33b; 1x4] were at the crease in the 4th stand when the bails were drawn for the third day. 

Earlier, Dhaka Division, having 238/10 in 81 overs in the first innings, resumed the second innings with overnight score of 176/0 in 43 overs and declared the innings raising the tally to 385/1-d in 92 overs.

Overnight centurion Rony Talukdar completed an unbeaten double scoring 228* off 252 balls, including 18 boundaries and seven sixes while another overnight batsman Abdul Mazid hit 132 off 288 balls featuring 14 boundaries and two sixes, alongside their brilliant opening partnership stand of 350 off 86.4 overs.

Saif Hassan added unbeaten 13 runs for Dhaka division.

Jubair Hossain got the only wicket for 68 runs for Chattogram.
