Bangladeshi fencer Mohima Akter Mou clinched bronze medal in women's foil individual of fencing discipline in the 13th South Asian Games at Kirtipur Covered Hall in Nepal Capital Kathmandu on Friday.
Mou shared the event's bronze medal with Rama Singh of hosts Nepal. Devi Wangelbam of India clinched gold medal in the women's foil individual while her compatriot Await Radhika secured silver.
Besides, fencer Md Efta Kharul Alam Bipul shared bronze medals with Roshan Archchige of Sri Lanka in men's sabre individual. Karan Singh of India clinched gold in men's sabre individual while his compatriot Padma Gishonidhi Kumaresan bagged silver.
In the men's epee individual, Bangladeshi fencer Md Imtiaj shared bronze medal with Ali Saeeduddin of Pakistan. Sunil Kumar of India clinched gold in the event and his compatriot Guruprakash Coppara secured silver.
