In their final group stage match, Bangladesh will face Bhutan.
To secure a place in the semifinals, Bangladesh must secure maximum points from the match against Maldives and then defeat Bhutan in their last match.

Bangladesh achieved their greatest SAFF success in 2023 when they defeated Maldives in the final on home soil. Since then, Bangladesh has reached the final of the South Asia's biggest footballing event twice, but the elusive title has eluded them.
