After the lunch, Bangladesh team participated in a recovery session at the swimming pool and took part in technical training class Thursday evening.

In the 2nd semifinal, India will play the Maldives, also on Friday (Sept 27) at 3 pm (Nepalese time) at the same venue.

The final match will be held on Sunday (Sept 29) at 3 pm local time while the 3rd place deciding match between two losing semifinalists will also be held on the same day at 11 pm local time at the same venue.

the last group matches on Wednesday, India outplayed all-losers Sri Lanka by 3-0 goals while the Maldives played to a goalless draw with Bhutan at the same venue.

On completion of the Group B matches, the match commissioner declared India as the group champions through lottery as the points, goal difference and head to head results of both the India and Bangladesh are equal.

In Group A, Bhutan became champions and the Maldives finished runners-up while two times champions and hosts Nepal eliminated from the meet in group stage securing only one point from two matches.

Earlier, last time runners-up Bangladesh reached the semi-finals of the SAFF Under-18 football Championship 2019 with unbeaten run after playing a goalless draw against their giant neighbour India in the 2nd and last group match after crushing Sri Lanka 3-0 in the first match last Saturday.
