Bangladesh included Nasum Ahmed in playing XI against Sri Lanka in their first Super 12s match of the ongoing T20 World Cup.
It will be marked as his debut in the World Cup. The left-arm spinner played superbly well against Australia and New Zealand recently at home.
He was player of the match when Bangladesh beat Australia for the first time in T20Is recently.

In those series, he bagged a total of 16 wickets— eight against Australia and eight came against New Zealand.
To pave a way for Nasum, Bangladesh overlooked the right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed.
Nasum has played a total of 14 T20Is so far and bagged 18 wickets with the best figures of taking four wickets conceding 10 runs.

Bangladesh are playing in Group 1 of the Super 12s stage, where they will take on England, West Indies, South Africa, and Australia as well on October 27, 29 and November 2 and 4.
