Holders Bangladesh to play Canada in their 2nd Group A match of 16-team ICC Under-19 World Cup’ 2022 on Thursday to revive their glory after a frustrating defeat against England in the opening match.
The match will kick off at 7 pm Bangladesh Time at Conaree Sports Club, Basseterre in Saint Kitts and Nevis, West Indies.
Bangladesh, which clinched the maiden U-19 World Cup shocking giant India in the final of the last meet, made an embracing start this time with a humiliating seven-wicket defeat against England after bowling out cheaply for 97 runs last Sunday at the Warner Park, Basseterre, in Saint Kitts and Nevis last Sunday.

In the remaining group match, the young Tigers will play United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday (Jan 22) at the Warner Park, Basseterre, in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Earlier in the lone warm-up, the Young Tigers earned a convincing 155- run victory over Zimbabwe under D/L method in a rain affected match at Warner Park in St Kitts last Tuesday.
However, in Group A, England now topped the list securing full four points from straight two matches, UAE followed them with two points from one match while Canada and holders Bangladesh yet to open the account playing two and one match respectively.

To stay in the race, Bangladesh will have to win their remaining two matches against comparatively easier opponents.
Two top teams from each of the four groups, will play in the super league quarterfinals beginning from January 26.
