Earlier, two Bangladeshi umpires—Gazi Sohel and Tanvir Ahmed—have been enlisted as the International Cricket Council (ICC) Panel Umpire to conduct international matches.
They received through e-mail message from the ICC on Saturday morning in this regard. They will also get an opportunity to conduct some Bangladesh-West Indies matches of the ongoing series.
Meanwhile, newly appointed ICC enlisted panel umpire Gazi Sohel will conduct the West Indies-BCB X1 two-day match beginning in Chattogram on Sunday with another ICC panel umpire Masudur Rahman Mukul.
BCB X1 : Rubel Hossain (Captain), Soumya Sarker, Zakir Hossain, Mizanur Rahman, Fazle Mahmud Rabbi, Ebadat Hossain Chowdhury, Sadman Islam, Nazmul Islam Shanto, Nayeem Hasan, Shafiul Islam, Robiul Haque, Mohamamd Mithun and Rishad Ahmed.
