Women's Football: Kings outplay ARB College 3-0


National star-studded Bashundhara Kings maintained their supremacy in "Women's Football League 2020-21" outplaying Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College SC by 3-0 at the Kamalapur Stadium here on Tuesday.

National captain cum striker Sabina Khatun struck twice while  another national forward Tohura Khatun netted one for the Kings.

Sabina scored first in the 22nd minute to reach a landmark of scoring 50 goals for the Kings while she netted the 2nd goal in the 30th minute (2-0).

Tohura sealed the fate of the scoring one more goal in the 90th minute (3-0).

In the day's another match, Nasrin Sports Academy beat Suddopuskorini Jubo SC by 5-3  at the same venue.

Shita Rani Chandro made hattrick for Nasrin SA scoring three goals in the 29th, 50th and 72nd minutes while Shopna Akter and Airin added two more goals in the 79th and 89th minutes respectively.

For Suddopuskorini Jubo SC, Tonima Biswas, Nasrin Akhter and Joynab Bibi Rita scored one each in the 8th, 27th and 58th minutes respectively.

In the day's other match, FC Brahmanbaria defeated Cumilla United by 1-0 goal at the same venue.

Brahmanbaria won the match by a gifted goal when Shipra Rani of Cumilla sent the ball to her own net in the 56,the minute.
