Right-handed Bangladesh batter Yasir Ali has been ruled out of the ODI and T20I series against the West Indies due to an injury, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said Wednesday.
The batter failed to recover from a back injury sustained during the tour match ahead of the first Test in Antigua.

He was expected to be back in action in the ODI and T20 international series.
"Yasir Ali is not recovering as fast as anticipated from his back injury and could not start his rehabilitation process," Bayejidul Islam, the physiotherapist of the national team, said.
"He will miss the remaining matches and therefore be out of the West Indies series."
Yasir will return to Bangladesh and continue his recovery under the supervision of the BCB medical team.
