Zimbabwe have won the toss and opted to bowl first in the two-match T20I series opener at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Before heading to this game, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe faced each other in T20 on 11 occasions where the Tigers won seven of them.

With this game, Mohammad Saifuddin backed to T20I cricket after a layoff of five months due to a back injury.

Before the T20I series, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe played a one-off Test and three ODIs in the ongoing contest with Bangladesh won all of them.
