He made the remarks while receiving medical equipment including ventilator, Medicart robot and remote control UV-C light disinfectant system for clinical trial from Walton Group in an online press conference.
Local electronic giant Walton has started manufacturing Medicart robot and remote control UV-C light disinfectant system and ventilator to fight coronavirus pandemic.
State Minister said Walton’s initiative of producing life-saving equipment during this coronavirus pandemic has boosted the country's significance in the digital world.
The model of the Medicart robot device is 'WRMC-400 AP-2020'. It is entirely developed by own designs of Walton. Controlled by RF frequency, this automatic robot can cover an area of 400 meters in diameter and automatically carry food, medicine, medical or other equipment to patients in isolation.

State Minister informed that ICT Division has already submitted Walton’s medical devices to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for clinical trial on Thursday.
