BG Interactive Ltd showcased its next-generation managed cybersecurity services, Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities and cybersecurity workforce development initiatives at Phoenix Summit Dhaka 2026, highlighting its commitment to strengthening Bangladesh’s cyber resilience amid the country’s accelerating digital transformation.  

As a sponsor of one of the country’s leading cybersecurity events, the company presented its Cyber Command Center (CCC) and a range of managed security services aimed at helping organisations strengthen cyber resilience while reducing operational costs.

A notable moment at the summit was the visit of Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon to the company's booth on Friday. During the visit, the minister commended BG Interactive’s  initiatives and encouraged its efforts to strengthen Bangladesh's cybersecurity landscape.

At Booth No. 8, BG Interactive demonstrated its flagship Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS), a fully managed 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring and incident response service designed to help organisations avoid the substantial investment required to establish and operate their own Security Operations Centers.

According to the company, organisations using the service can significantly reduce capital expenditure while benefiting from continuous threat monitoring, real-time incident detection, rapid response, threat intelligence and compliance reporting delivered by cybersecurity specialists.

BG Interactive also offers end-to-end SOC deployment and implementation services for organizations seeking dedicated on-premise Security Operations Centers, covering architecture design, technology selection, implementation, customised operational playbooks, operational management and continuous optimization.

The company said its cybersecurity portfolio includes Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), digital forensics, cybersecurity advisory and consultancy, cybersecurity training, and ISO and IT auditing services.

Its ISO consulting services support organisations in achieving and maintaining internationally recognized certifications, including ISO 27001:2022, through governance assessments, risk and compliance reviews, application security audits, SOC maturity assessments, cloud security audits and disaster recovery evaluations.

As part of its workforce development efforts, BG Interactive also provides cybersecurity awareness and technical training on phishing defence, secure software development, cloud security, SIEM operations, incident response, malware analysis, threat hunting and role-based security training for IT professionals, developers, HR personnel, finance teams and senior executives.

To engage students and technology enthusiasts, the company introduced "Cyber Hunt," an interactive cybersecurity competition where participants solve cyber challenges for a chance to win prizes, including a smartphone.

Speaking to UNB, BG Interactive Managing Director Nabila Rahman said the company has long been operating in technology solutions, including POS systems, core banking solutions and document management systems, before expanding into cybersecurity less than a year ago.

She said the company currently operates its own Security Operations Center staffed by analysts who monitor cyber threats around the clock.

"Our analysts monitor threats 24/7, identifying where vulnerabilities exist and detecting attacks, including phishing emails and hacking attempts. We then provide clients with appropriate cybersecurity solutions," she said.

Nabila said BG Interactive partners with leading global cybersecurity companies including Fortinet and Splunk, enabling it to deliver enterprise-grade security technologies backed by local expertise.

Explaining the SOC-as-a-Service (SAAS) model, she said building an in-house Security Operations Center requires substantial investment in infrastructure, software, servers, uninterrupted power supply, air conditioning, cloud services and highly trained personnel working around the clock.

Instead, she said, clients can subscribe to BG Interactive's service on a monthly basis without incurring large capital expenditure.

"They only pay a monthly subscription fee. We will continuously analyse their systems, monitor threats, identify outdated software or phishing attempts and provide detailed reports without requiring clients to build and manage their own SOC," Rahman said.

She added that companies that will benefit with the SOC in SAAS model are banks, FMCGs, manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies etc.

Head of Cybersecurity at BG Interactive Ltd Azadur Rahman Sarker said the company provides 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring services for enterprise groups, banks and multinational companies to protect their data and digital infrastructure across multiple locations.

He said BG Interactive is a partner of Splunk, whose technology powers more than 37 percent of Security Operations Centers worldwide.

"We are the only Splunk partner in Bangladesh that operates its own SOC using Splunk solutions. We also have Fortinet solutions and operate both platforms in a practical production environment," he said.

Sarker said the company is also focusing on developing skilled cybersecurity professionals by providing practical training for graduates entering the job market.

Many graduates face difficulties entering the cybersecurity profession because employers require prior experience, he said.

To address this, BG Interactive offers hands-on training that enables participants to work directly with enterprise-grade cybersecurity platforms.

"Students receive practical training, and those who perform well may have the opportunity to work with us. They can build their careers here or use that experience to secure jobs elsewhere in Bangladesh or abroad," Sarker said.

Recalling the evolution of cybersecurity awareness in Bangladesh, he said that when he began working in the sector in 2017, many organisations considered firewalls alone sufficient for security.

"After the Bangladesh Bank cyber heist, organisations realised that firewalls alone are not enough. Today, almost every major organisation has established dedicated cybersecurity teams or security cells," he said.
