Besides releasing flagships and high-end big-budgeted phones, Samsung has become a familiar name when it comes to manufacturing low and mid-ranged good-quality phones. The Samsung Galaxy A series has been pioneering the affordable ranged phones market. After pleasing customers’ expectations with Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A31, the Korean company adds another smartphone Galaxy A32 to the line-up. Though the goal remains the same, Samsung has added some exciting features to this latest release. This Samsung Galaxy A32 review will elaborate on the features of the phone and also have a comparative discussion.
Key Features of Samsung Galaxy A32
All about the Design
The new Samsung Galaxy A32 has a minimalistic design. The back is totally plain with just the logo of the company and camera holes. Having mentioned the cameras, all of them have a more minimal look as they are placed discreetly instead of crowded within a dedicated panel. The design will make a fresh and cute impression on users’ minds. However, this is not the first time Samsung has implemented such a design. We have seen similar designs in Galaxy A52 and A72.
Samsung has designed the phone for daily use. The entire phone is compact and feels smoothly operable with one hand. The only drop-in expectation is the phone’s body. The back, along with the whole-body frame, is made of plastic.

Screen and its Play
Samsung Galaxy A32 has introduced an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. According to the users, this high refresh rate has been perfectly backed by the MediaTek Helio processor Samsung used in the phone. Scrolling and other animations are smoother when it comes to operating daily or regular apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, and tweeter. But in terms of high-graphic and high-quality content enriched sites, scrolling loses that smoothness.
The phone’s display is 6.4” and 2400 by 1080 resolution. The color quality and video output are above average if compared to the other similar or lower versions from the same company. At the upper of the phone’s display is a secondary camera teardrop punch-hole which blends with the bezel of the phone. The sin and bezel are of a regular size that Samsung has used in mid-range phones.

Camera Lenses
Samsung has reintroduced its individual ring-placeholder design for the rear cameras from the Galaxy S21. But, what sets the Galaxy A32 from the Galaxy ‘A’ series phones are its 64MP camera. The camera has been placed in the middle of the phone. The 8MP wide-angle lens is placed just above the primary lens, and a 5MP portrait lens is located below it. On their right are a led flush and a 5MP macro lens. These are the whole rear studio setup for the A32. The same setup we have seen in Galaxy A31, too. Same control panels with the same control panel have been implemented.
The quality of the pictures taken by the Samsung Galaxy A32 is better compared to the other phones of the same series. In daylight, all the cameras capture amazing pictures with saturated colors, and vividness, and details. However, in low light, taken pictures show some noises. But with the night mode, this issue can be diminished to a level.
Overall, the camera performance has improved from the prior releases. However, it still can’t reach the Pixel 4, or Redmi Note 10 Pro level. Especially the Macro is a fixed-focused lens which doesn’t actually worth it.

Performance
Samsung has implemented a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor in the Galaxy A32. From an angle, it’s a great step-up of the company as it previously used Exynos processors. While MediaTek processors are better than Exynos’s, it does not justify the price of Galaxy A32. Because the same processor can be found in some competitor phones with the half price of Galaxy A32.
The Mali-G52 GPU is used by two cores, and to be honest, its performance is not satisfactory while playing high-configuration games. Comparing to the performance of other around-priced phones like Pixel 4a, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Nord N10 5G, Samsung Galaxy doesn’t have a chance. However, the phone does all the other regular tasks and plays low-requirement games without making users’ lives harder.
Another appreciable facet of Galaxy A32 is its RAM capacity. The 6GB RAM could be a great buying trigger if it was combined with a more powerful processor.

Battery and Charging
A 5000 mAh battery plays its part to give users a long time at a stretch using ability. Even with heavy use, a user can have a full day of battery support. This heavy use includes 5 to 6 hours of gaming and 2 o 3 hours of watching videos and browsing the internet.
But it seems the Galaxy A32 can’t forward two steps without making one step back. The charger given with the phone is a 15W fast-charging device. It takes almost 6 to 7 hours to charge the whole phone.

Final Verdict
After analyzing all the parts and performance given by the Samsung Galaxy A32 and comparing them with its peers, we can say that the phone, not even an above-average one. Cameras and display are its strongest part, while the overall performance drags it down to shouldn’t-be-bought level. Users who are looking for good camera work and a reliable brand name can go for the phone without any hesitation. But if you are seeking a handset for having a better gaming experience, Samsung Galaxy A32 is not the phone. You should look for other options.
