There have been leaks and rumors surrounding the device for quite a few months now. Samsung has officially confirmed that the device is indeed coming this April a couple of weeks ago. The camera housing takes inspiration from the previous-gen S 21 but tones down with a unified raised housing.

At 181 g, the phone is expected to be on the lighter side. Unlike the more budget-oriented A series devices, the A73 5G will not feature the fingerprint sensor on the power button. Rather Samsung is going with a more traditional display fingerprint solution.
The usual port selection is all here with either dual or single sim variants. The dual-sim variant will have to compromise on the second sim to use the micro SDXC slot. The 3.5 mm headphone jack hasn’t been confirmed yet so it's there with a ghost status as of now. Given the marketing segment of the device, it was expected that the device will feature a stereo speaker. However, Samsung has specified that they will only be using a bottom-firing single speaker here. A positive aspect here is the IP67 splash and dust resistance. The display
The display is undoubtedly going to be the biggest selling point of the A73 5G; but why? Because Samsung is bringing their high-flying Super AMOLED+ panels to this device. The 6.67-inches 120 Hz panel is limited to FHD+ resolution. Certainly, that was expected given the price segment it is aimed at.
The display will surprise the viewers in every way. The blacks look deep with rich color contrast. Viewing angles here doesn’t produce any kind of color shift whatsoever. The peak brightness isn’t rated here, but given the resolution, it should be anywhere around 1300 nits. Overall, the display will bring a pleasant viewing experience for first-time users as well as Samsung old-timers.

The Camera
The Samsung A-series phones have always had big specs on camera technology. In line with previous models, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is expected to come with a quad-camera setup as well.
But what's interesting here is the main sensor. The main lens is expected to be a 108 MP one with PDAF and OIS incorporated. Processor and Performance
According to leaks, the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset. The 700 series from Snapdragon have been their proprietary mid-range processor for a long time. The chipset is built on a 6 Nm architecture which promises an efficient performance. The octa-core processor features 4 2.4 GHz Kryo 670 and 4 1.8 GHz Kryo 670 chips along with Adreno 642L as the GPU unit.
The Snapdragon 778G chipset has previously been featured in devices like Realme GT master edition, Xiaomi 11 lite, and iQOO Z5. Going by the performance on those devices, the processor is going to pack some serious punch.
