A 45-year-old fish trader was killed and two others were injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Mawa highway in Jatrabari area of the capital on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Rajib Mia of Munshiganj district. A 30-year-old fish trader was found dead in a hotel room in Barishal city on Tuesday night, police said. The deceased was identified as Rubel Khandaker, son of Latif Khandaker of Elencha village in Bakerganj upazila. Lokman Hossain, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Police Station, said that Rubel checked into ‘Swadhin Park’ hotel near Rupatoli Bus Terminal in Rupatoli Golchattar a few days ago. On information, police recovered the body and sent it to the local hospital morgue for an autopsy. "A probe has been ordered," the OC said.
