Fish trader killed in Dhaka road crash
A 45-year-old fish trader was killed and two others were injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Mawa highway in Jatrabari area of the capital on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Rajib Mia of Munshiganj district.

Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police outpost, said the accident occurred around 7:30 am at the slope of Kuicchamara Bridge when a fish-laden covered van overturned while going to Abdullahpur, leaving three people injured.
The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where Rajib succumbed to his injuries around 9 am.

Fish trader found dead in Barishal hotel
A 30-year-old fish trader was found dead in a hotel room in Barishal city on Tuesday night, police said.
The deceased was identified as Rubel Khandaker, son of Latif Khandaker of Elencha village in Bakerganj upazila.
Lokman Hossain, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Police Station, said that Rubel checked into ‘Swadhin Park’ hotel near Rupatoli Bus Terminal in Rupatoli Golchattar a few days ago.

On Tuesday night, the hotel management broke open the door of his room after getting no response from inside despite repeated knocks and found him dead.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to the local hospital morgue for an autopsy. "A probe has been ordered," the OC said.
