The Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) has recovered  one and a half kg of heroin worth Tk 1.5 crore from Savar and Ashulia in Dhaka, which was sent by courier on Thursday and arrested two people, including a woman.

Drug smugglers have been coming up with new tactics to evade detection. In a latest attempt, a man was caught smuggling contraband phensedyl cough syrup from India in bottles of fruit juice.

A suspected drug dealer was arrested by the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) from Dhaka’s Uttara area on Friday morning.
