BIMSTEC Silver Jubilee Quiz to be held on February 14 in Bhutan
The first BIMSTEC Quiz will be held in Bhutan's Thimphu on February 14, marking the 25th anniversary of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Bhutan Tandi Dorji will be the chief guest at the event.
Seven teams composed of two secondary school students representing all BIMSTEC members – Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand – will compete in the Quiz.
The contest is being organised by the BIMSTEC Secretariat in Dhaka, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Bhutan, and with the support of the foreign ministries of BIMSTEC members.
The secretariat decided to organise an event in connection with BIMSTEC's Silver Jubilee, recognising the importance of young people in driving regional cooperation and integration.

16 win UNB’s Asia Cup 2022 Quiz Competition
As Asia Cup 2022 came to a nail-biting end, so did the exciting Asia Cup 2022 Quiz Competition, organized by UNB, with 16 winners.
The UNB quiz campaign kicked off on August 27 and it continued till September 11.
The participants were given 16 quizzes on the 2022 Asia Cup cricket on UNB website and Facebook page.

From the correct answers, 16 participants were chosen as winners through a lottery. One winner was chosen for each day’s quiz.
The winners of the quiz contest are: Taposh Chakroborti, Abdul Mottalib, Abdullah Al Hriday, Afroza Parvin, Faisal Ahmed, Hasin Anjom, Itteja Ahmed , Meherunnesa Tusi, Monira Islam, Naziha Rahman, Rahima Akter Rahima, Sadia Rahman, Sajjad Hosen Titu, Sultan Mahmud, Mimla Mimi, and Mohua Juthi.

Each of the 16 winners will get prize money for their participation.

5G Quiz campaign: Huawei announces winners
Huawei Technologies Bangladesh announced 19 winners of its 5G Quiz campaign this week.
The participants who answered all the questions correctly and met other requirements were selected as the winners.
The campaign began in December 2021. Participants needed to answer all the ten questions correctly and reshare all quiz posts to win.

All the winners received attractive Huawei devices this week.
Yuying Karl, head of public affairs and communications department at Huawei Bangladesh, said: "5G is comparatively new, and Bangladesh has already embraced this advanced technology with the belief to realise further benefits in all sectors with this empowered technology."
"Our 5G Quiz campaign was to let people know more about the technology and Huawei's effort to make it more impactful. The participation reflects the interest of people for 5G."
