Key Features of Vivo T2x  Design and Build Quality The Vivo T2X is a slightly toned-down budget variant of the Vivo T2. While Vivo has continuously delayed the launch of the T2 to late August now, the T2x has finally made its way to the masses. The device is almost identical to the T2 which in turn is heavily inspired by the first iteration of the T series, the T1. The similar design spec is also coupled with the premium build quality. Vivo users should feel right at home with the hand feel and durability of the device. The device has all the usual port choices found in a budget device. There are dual sim slots but unfortunately, Vivo has decided to skip the inclusion of a micro SDXC slot for extended memory. Like all other budget devices, the headphone jack remains ever-present in the T2x as it's tipped to be present in the higher T2 variant as well. The fingerprint sensor has been side-mounted this time around to the power button. The surface is made flush with the plastic frame. It will take some getting used to accurately figure out the position of the power button. The plastic build of the device might not be to everyone’s taste but considering the budget and the tried and tested design element, the T2x definitely packs a punch above its class. The LCD panel will not compete with the likes of AMOLED but with its features and resolution, the display doesn’t disappoint. There is a 144 Hz refresh rate in the panel. That’s a notch up from the usual 120 Hz seen on high-end panels.  Needless to say, the user experience here will be buttery smooth. The OS seems to blaze through everything giving it a far superior performance outlook than the device is actually capable of. The panel has great color vibrance and excellent viewing angles. It holds a peak brightness of 650 nits. It is a bit below average compared to the other panels and outdoor visibility might be compromised with some glares. Camera The main camera system of the T2x is a dual-lens setup. Vivo reserved the high-end triple camera system for the T2 whereas the T2x got a toned-down version of the same. So how does the main sensor fair since there’s virtually nothing new in the camera tech? The phone also does significantly well in low light conditions especially indoors. The videography of the T2x is tipped at 4K at 30 fps and 1080P at either 60 or 30 fps. The gyro – EIS does a good job at stabilization, but it's nothing out of the ordinary. The front-facing camera is a 16 MP one. It’s a decent wide-angle shooter that gets the job done. Overall, it's understandable why Vivo is a self-titled camera phone company because the performance of the camera system is well above the price it comes at. Processor and Performance What came as a surprise with the T2x is its processor. The T2 is slated to come with an upper mid-range Snapdragon 870 5G chip. The T2x matches that with the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chip built on the 6 Nm architecture. The processor coupled with the ultra-fast display offers a near-flagship performance experience. There are no lags or stutters anywhere in the UI. 3D games also run in max settings with only a few minor frame drops here and there. This phone runs on the Android 12 OriginOS 2.0 operating system. Vivo’s OriginOS has come a long way from its initial days and is considerably less heavy with its bloatware. Overall, users will be satisfied with the performance and price match here. The battery life comes at around 6 to 7 hours of continuous usage. It would have been much more but the 144 Hz LCD panel churns out most of the juice. Price of Vivo T2x  The Vivo T2x comes in two variants – 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB. The lower storage model will cost 1699 RMB or 23,557 BDT and the higher one is slated at 1899 RMB or 26,330 BDT (1 CNY = 13.87 BDT). However, the price might differ when the device is officially launched in Bangladesh due to various factors like tax and import schedule. Verdict The T series from Vivo has been the perfect mix and peek into the high-end Vivo models. Starting with the T1, the company focused on affordable mid-range devices that provide a good value for the money. This latest Vivo phone T2X brings some impressive features which may excite the Vivo fans.
