BdJobs job fair to be held in Sylhet on Thursday
Job information website bdjobs.com will organize a job fair in Sylhet with the participation of 50 leading organizations of the country on Thursday.
The fair will run from 9 am to 4 pm at Aman Ullah Convention Center at Arambag Point in the city, said Bdjobs Marketing Director Prakash Roy Chowdhury in a press conference at the company’s head office in the capital.

Prakash Roy Chowdhury said that companies are in need of a lot of manpower after Covid-19 pandemic.
“But the reality is the companies are unable to find qualified people. BdJobs is organizing this fair to connect companies with job seekers in Sylhet. The local job market of Sylhet mainly depends on: Hospitality and Healthcare sector. We expect a large number of chefs, waiters, housekeepers, nurses, pathologists and medical technicians to gather at the fair,” he said
He said Job seekers participating in this fair will get to know about the company and prepare themselves by talking to the representatives of the companies besides submitting their CVs at the booths of the companies.
BdJobs.com officials Shafiqul Islam, Md. Rafiqul Islam, Meghla Sharmin and coordinator of the fair Mohammad Ali Feroz were present in the press conference.
The job fair is being fully supported by the special program A2I and BRAC Skill Development Program of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for building Digital Bangladesh.
BdJobs.com organized job fairs in various major cities of the country including Dhaka, Khulna, Chattogram to connect employers with job candidates.

Bdjobs sales job fair Monday in Dhaka's Farmgate
Job portal Bdjobs.com will organise the "first sales job fair of the country" Monday in Dhaka to cater to the increasing demand of field sales forces for the rapidly growing retail and consumer goods manufacturing sectors.
The "Sales Chakri Mela'' will be held at the Krishibid Institution (KIB) Convention Hall in Farmgate to "create 3,000 sales jobs."
The fair, organised by Bdjobs.com in association with a2i and the BRAC Skills Development Program, will start at 9am and will continue till 5pm. Fifty renowned consumer goods manufacturing and retail sector companies will take part in the event.

Companies will collect the CVs of the job seekers and will conduct on-the-spot interviews. To take part in this fair, job seekers will have to register online.
Prokash Roy Chowdhury, director of marketing at Bdjobs.com, said: "We have many unemployed youths who do not want to work in the sales sector. But the rapidly growing business sectors like consumer goods manufacturing and retail need many people as field sales forces."
