Bangladeshi amateur golfer Md Shomrat Sikder dominated the top slot of men’s individual event of Mujib Borsho Cup Amateur Golf Championship 2020 at the Kurmitola Golf Course here on Friday.

Bangladesh 'A' Golf team studded with Mohammad Farhad and Md Shomrat Sikder clinched the team title of the Mujib Barsho Cup Amateur Golf Championship 2020 scoring two under par (146 + 140) 286 on the 2nd day of the meet at the Kurmitola Golf Course here on Thursday.

Bangladeshi golfer Mohammad Samrat Sikder topped the list in the individual event of the Mujib Borsho Cup Amateur Golf Tournament 2020 scoring two under par 70 after the first round matches at the Kurmitola Golf Course here on Wednesday.

The Mujib Borsho Cup Amateur Golf Tournament 2020, organised by Bangladesh Golf  Federation (BGF), was inaugurated on Tuesday at the Kurmitola Golf Course here.   State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Hasan Russell MP inaugurated the meet as chief guest. The country’s amateur international golf tournament is scheduled to be held from January 8 to 11.
