BNP’s Dhaka North City (DNCC) mayoral candidate Tabith Awal voiced doubt about fair voting bringing various allegations, including obstruction of his agents from entering many polling centres and intimidating voters.

A writ petition was filed with High Court on Sunday seeking cancellation of BNP's Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Tabith Awal’s nomination bringing allegation of concealing  wealth information in election affidavit.

BNP’s Mayoral candidate of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) polls Tabith Awal on Tuesday said the ruling party has repeatedly been attacking his campaigners as it has got unnerved seeing people’s overwhelming response to ‘Sheaf of Paddy’.

Even though the electioneering is yet to start, BNP’s two mayoral candidates in the upcoming elections to Dhaka south and north city corporations are worried about the election atmosphere.
