BFF U-16 Football: Pragoti Sangha emerge champions beating Wari
Kawran Bazar Pragoti Sangha clinched the BFF U-16 Football Tournament title beating old horse Wari Club by 3-0 goals in the final at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur Tuesday afternoon.The winners led the first half by 1-0 goalShahibul struck twice, first in the very 7th minute and other in the stoppage time of the match (90+9 minute) while Arif netted the other goal for Pragoti Sangha in the 62nd minute. Arif Hossain Sumon of the champions Pragoti Sangha and Abu Bakar Siddique of Fortis FC named as the highest scorers jointly, Shahidul Mustafa of Pragoti Sangha named as the best player of the final while Akash Islam of Wari Club was adjudged the best player of the tournament.R

BFF Vice President Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi, BFF members Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, Tipu Sultan, Satyajit Das Rupu, Eilas Hossain, Imtiaz Hamid Sabuj and Mohidur Rahman Miraj witnessed the day's final and were present at the day's prize distribution ceremony. A total of eleven club teams took part in the BFF U-16 tournament that began on September 20. Besides, Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) runners up Azampur Football Club and BCL fair play trophy winner Gopalganj Sporting Club were also awarded at the day's function.
