In the day's 2nd semifinal, Brazilian striker cum team captain Robson Robinho put the star-studded Kings ahead in the 13th minute from a penalty (1-0).. Rakib Hossain doubled the Kings margin in the 65th minute (2-0). Brazilian striker Dorielton scored the 3rd goal for the Kings in the 73rd minute (3-0). With the day's well merited victory, Sheikh Russel KC clinched the Group A title with unbeaten record securing seven points from all the three group encounters while the traditional black and while Dhaka Mohammedan also qualified for the quarterfinal as the Group A runners-up, collecting six points from three outings.
