Islami Bank Bangladesh inaugurated its Islampur branch in Jamalpur Thursday. Md Faridul Haque Khan, state minister for religious affairs, inaugurated the 394th branch of the bank as chief guest, according to a media statement. Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, was also present. Islami Bank is a joint venture public limited company engaged in commercial banking business based on Islamic shariah.
