The government has decided to scrap land phone connection fee of Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) on the occasion of ‘Mujib Year’, the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday urged the youth to develop a mindset of being self-employed and employers instead of desperately looking for jobs.

The countdown to the birth centenary celebration of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman began on Friday through a gala opening ceremony.
