National Men's Handball: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) emerge champions
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) clinched the Exim Bank 33rd National Men's Handball Championship title beating Bangladesh Ansar & VDP team by 37-32 goal in the final at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here Tuesday afternoon.
This 30th title for BGB (former BDR) in 33 national meets.
The winners led the first half by 16-10 goal.

Tariqur Rahman of the BGB was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell MP witnessed the day's final as the chief guest and later he distributed the trophies at a function chaired by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) President AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul.
BHF general Secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, among others, was also present on the occasion
Earlier in the semifinals, Ansar & VDP eliminated Bangladesh Police Handball Club by 34-27 goal while BGB booked a seat for the final eliminating Dhaka DSA by 41-15 goal.

National Handball: Eight 2nd round matches held on Tuesday
Eight 2nd round matches --four in the morning and four in the afternoon --of the Exim Bank 33rd National Men's Handball Championship' 2022 were decided at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Paltan here on Tuesday.
In the morning session, Mymensingh DSA outplayed Feni DSA by 25-7 goals; Chuadanga DSA defeated Barguna DSA by 23-21 goals; Panchagarh DSA crushed Narayanganj DSA by 33-2 goals while Gopalganj DSA trounced Bagerhat DSA by 25-6 goals.

In the afternoon session, Rajshahi DSA beat Bogura DSA by 30-26 goals; Jessore DSA outplayed Madaripur DSA by 32-9 goals; Faridpur DSA defeated Sherpur DSA by 32=7 goals while Mymensingh DSA beat Barguna DSA by 25-14 goals in their day's 2nd match.

V Day Handball: BGB, Ansar reach men's final
Defending champions Boarder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Bangladesh Ansar & VDP tean reached the men's final of the Victory Day Handball Tournament' 2022 eliminating their rivals at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here on Wednesday.
In the women's section, Holders Bangladesh Ansar & VDP and Badalgachi Handball Association qualified for the final beating their rivals at the same venue this afternoon.
Both the men's and women's finals and the prize distribution ceremony of the meet will be held on Thursday (December 15) afternoon at the same venue.

Bangladesh Ansar & VDP team will play Badalgachi Handball Association in the women's final at 1 pm while Border Guard Bangladesh will face Ansar & VDP team in the men's final at 3 pm.
Former Rajuk chairman and former vice president of Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) Abdur Rahman will be chief guest in Thursday's closing function to be chaired by BHF general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor.
In the day's men's group matches, Boarder Guard Bangladesh beat Ansar & VDP team 32-26 while Bangladesh Police defeated Team Handball Dhaka by 36-23 goals.

In the day's women's group matches, Ansar & VDP team beat Jamalpur Sports Academy by 30-10 goals while Badalgachi Handball Association defeated Police Handball team by 21-17 goals.
