Covid-19: Bangladesh logs 17 more cases, zero death
Bangladesh reported 17 more Covid-19 cases in 24 hours till Saturday morning.
With the new number, the country's total caseload rose to 2,037,433, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
However, the official death toll from the disease remained unchanged at 29,441 as no new fatalities were reported.
The daily case test positivity increased to 0.54 percent from Friday's 0.41 percent as 3,134 samples were tested.

The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 percent while the recovery rate rose to 97.71 percent.

Bangladesh reported 10 more Covid cases in the 24 hours to Saturday morning.
With the new number, the country's total caseload rose to 2,037,356, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
However, the official death toll from the disease remained unchanged at 29,441 as no new fatalities were reported.
The daily case test positivity dropped to 0.50 percent from Friday's 0.51 percent as 2,012 samples were tested.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.45 percent while the recovery rate rose to 97.65 percent.

The mortality and recovery rates remained unchanged at 1.45 percent and 97.53 percent, respectively.
In November, the country reported 10 Covid-linked deaths and 1,345 cases.

Bangladesh reported 37 more Covid cases in 24 hours till Saturday morning.
The total fatalities remained unchanged at 29,425 as no death was reported during the period.
With the new infections, the caseload rose to 2,035,782, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate dropped to 1.96 per cent from Friday’s 3.25 per cent as 1,892 samples were tested during the period.

In September, the country reported 40 Covid-linked deaths and 13,251 cases.

Covid-19: Positivity rate at 6.27 pc with 433 cases, zero death
Amid surging positivity rate Bangladesh recorded 433 new Covid cases in 24 hours till Friday morning taking the country's total caseload to 1,955,427, the health directorate said.
The country's total fatalities, however, remained unchanged at 29,131 as no death was reported during the period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily test positivity rate rose to 6.27 per cent from Thursday’s 5.76 cent with 6,905 samples tested during the period.
The country on Thursday saw 357 cases with zero death.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.49 per cent. The recovery rates declined to 97.46 per cent as 93 patients recovered during this period.
In May, the country reported only four Covid-linked deaths and 816 new cases, while 7,356 patients recovered from the disease, according to the DGHS.
Among the four deaths during the period, one was vaccinated with single dose of Covid vaccine while three were vaccinated with two doses.
The country reported its first zero Covid death in a single day on November 20 last year, along with 178 cases, since the pandemic broke out here in March 2020.
On January 28, Bangladesh logged its previous highest positivity rate of 33.37 per cent.
The country registered its highest daily caseload of 16,230 on July 28 last year and daily fatalities of 264 on August 10 in the same year.
