February 2023 New Release: Top 10 Upcoming Smartphones in Bangladesh
The first month of the new year has already passed. Usually, brands don’t release smartphones this early each year. The number of releases from brands increases as the months passes with the highest concentration being at the end of each year. Still, some exciting smartphones - ranging from budget to flagship level - are coming to the Bangladeshi market in February 2023. Let's find out what will they offer.
Best Smartphones Releasing in February 2023
Honor X5
Honor X5 has been officially announced on 24th January with an expected release in the second week of February. Ever since Honor shifted away from Huawei’s shadow, the company has been growing and expanding its budget lineup. The X5 is a testament to that.
The Honor X5 is an entry-level device with a 6.5-inch TFT panel, a Mediatek Helio G25 processor, and a PowerVR GPU. The device is completely entry-level in the sense that it comes with just 2GB of RAM and 32 GB ROM with external storage extension options.
The display resolution is limited to just 720 by 1600 Pixels. This is not a gaming phone in any way but rather something that will serve as a casual daily driver.

Tecno Spark Go 2023
We rarely see brands including year names with their devices. But Tecno seems to have taken a different approach this year. Their hugely popular Spark Go has been renewed for 2023 early on.
The Spark Go 2023 was announced in mid-January with availability in the first week of February. The device features a Mediatek Helio A22 processor with either 3 or 4 GB RAM configuration. The onboard memory options are either 32 or 64 GB.
There is a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel which should be great for media consumption. The device also comes with a dual-camera setup. Though the 13 MP main shooter would be doing much of the heavy lifting. The front features a 5 MP generic shooter.

Nokia C12
The revival of Nokia by HMD Global was nothing short of a phoenix rising. The latest offering from the brand, the C12 was announced on 18th January with an expected release sometime in February.
The C12 is another budget device from Nokia as the brand is currently focusing on budget and mid-level devices. The device is powered by Unisoc SC9863A1 which is a complete entry-level processor. The internal storage options of the C12 are 2 GB RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage.
There is a single 8 MP back shooter with a 5 MP front sensor. Nokia went with Android Go based on 12 for the C12. Given its processing power, the device isn’t suited for gaming. However, it will be enough for casual day-to-day usage.

TCL 40 SE
TCL is making a comeback with its entry-level devices once again. Their latest device, the 40 SE is scheduled for a February release this year.
The 40 SE has been a proper mid-range device from TCL for a long time. The device features a Mediatek Helio G37 processor with either 4 or 6 GB of RAM options. The internal storage has also been upgraded to either 128 or 256 GB variants. The display is still an HD+ one but TCL has included a 90 Hz refresh rate.
However, the most surprising thing about the TCL 40 SE is the triple camera setup on the back. Users will get a 50 MP main sensor and two 2 MP macro and depth sensors. The front will also feature an 8 MP shooter.
The expected price of the TCL 40 SE is around 160 euros or 18,557 BDT (1 EUR = 18,557).

OnePlus 11
OnePlus has long moved from its flagship killer status and has been a proper premium flagship brand for quite some time now. After their merger with Oppo, their second iteration is here, the OnePlus 11.
The phone is slated for an Asian release on 7th February. The device will come absolutely stacked on the hardware front with a QHD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 4nm, 16MP front sensor, a triple rear camera setup (50MP+32MP+48MP) in collaboration with Hasselblad, and many more.
This is also the first time users will be getting up to 16 GB RAM on a OnePlus device. The internal memory ranges from 258 to 512GB. It will also offer the industry-setting 100W fast charging.
The price of the OnePlus 11 is slated at 5433 CNY or 85,850 BDT (1 CNY = 15.80 BDT).

realme GT Neo 5
Another year, another GT series from realme. The device will bear an AMOLED panel. The vivid display will offer 1240 by 2772 pixels resolution with around 451 PPI density.
The internals will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset or Mediatek Dimensity 8200 (4 nm) with RAM support of up to 16 GB. The internal storage has also been beefed up to 512 GB. The device will feature a triple camera setup (50MP+8MP+2MP), with the front sensor being 16MP.
But if you ask us what the wow factor is on this device? It’s undoubtedly the 150W fast charging technology.

Vivo IQOO Neo 7
The IQOO Neo 7 has been Vivo’s answer to the flagship killer tag. The IQOO Neo 7 saw its launch in China last year. However, the global variant is expected to make its debut in February.
Its 6.78-inch display will offer 1080 by 2400 pixels of resolution. The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 4nm SoC. You will get up to 512 GB of internal storage paired with 12 GB of RAM. The FHD+ AMOLED display has also been propped up to feature a 120 Hz refresh rate.
There will be a triple camera setup on the IQOO Neo 7, with the primary shooter being a 64 MP one. The front camera is expected to be a 16 MP one.
The price of the IQOO Neo 7 is expected to be around 2432 CNY or 38,429 BDT.

Vivo X90 Pro
The X line from Vivo has been their proper flagship device for quite some years now. Late last year, we received the Vivo X90. Starting this year on the same note, Vivo is all set with the X90 Pro.
As expected from Vivo, the X90 Pro comes absolutely stacked with features and optimizations. It comes with a 6.78-inch display featuring 1260 x 2800 pixels with 453PPI. From Quad HD+ AMOLED 120 Hz display to Mediatek Dimensity 9200 4nm processor and a new Arm Immortalis GPU, the X90 Pro has it all.
Users will be getting a triple camera setup with two 50 MP shooters. One is the main sensor, and the other is a telephoto one. The rear camera setup will also bear a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front side, there will be a 32MP selfie sensor.
The base variant of the X90 Pro is expected to be priced at around 5297 CNY or 83,701 BDT.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
Probably the most anticipated release for this year has to be the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Unlike its competitors, Samsung releases its flagship S lineup early each year, setting the gold standard for others to follow.
Like every year, the S23 Ultra will feature top of a line display with AMOLED 2X and 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1750 nits peak brightness. Its 6.8-inch display will sport 1440 by 3088 pixels resolution with 501 PPIdensity. The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The S23 Ultra this year is expected to shatter everything with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 along with up to 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. This device will feature UFS 4.o data transfer technology.
However, Samsung will be breaking ground this year with the camera. The main sensor is expected to be a 200 MP one with supporting dual 10 MP and a 12 MP ultrawide shooter. The front will feature a 12 MP shooter as well.
From the processing power, the camera, and the 45W fast charging battery, we will get a complete flagship package with the S23 Ultra.
The expected price of the S23 Ultra is around 1420 Euro or 164,672 BDT.

Infinix Zero 5G 2023
Infinix will kick off 2023 with their zero 5G. The Zero 5G is a proper mid-range smartphone from Infinix with some interesting quirks up its sleeves. Even though the device has already been released in China, the international debut is expected to happen sometime in February.
The device is powered by Dimensity 920 based on the 6 Nm architecture. Infinix has made the weird combination of a 6.78-inch IPS LCD and 120 Hz refresh rate display, usually seen on AMOLED panels. The device also has a triple camera setup with a 50 MP main shooter and a 16 MP selfie camera.
The Infinix Zero 5G is expected to be around 250 euros or 28,991 BDT.

Vaathi, which means master or leader, is the title of the new action drama starring Dhanush. It is a simultaneous Tamil and Telugu film directed and written by Venky Atluri, while the Telugu version is titled Sir. Several changes were made to the Telugu version of the period film, including changing the name of the lead character to Bala Gangadhar Tilak and changing the name of the school to Tirupati Educational Institution.
Dhanush's role here is that of a third-class junior lecturer in an educational institution, who stands up to institutions whose commercial interests are bigger than educating children.
Produced by Fortune Four Cinemas and Seethara Entertainments, Dhanush's lead co-artist is Yukta Menon. After the theatrical release, Netflix took over the OTT streaming rights of the film.

It is a historical film directed and written by Gunasekhar and produced by Neelima Guna under Guna Teamworks. The main story is adapted from Kalidasa's popular play Abhijananam Shakuntalam. The film will feature Samantha in the title role and Dev Mohan as King Dushmanta. Besides, Madhu, Ananya Nagalla, Gautami, and Aditi Balan will be seen in other roles.
Along with Telugu, the movie will also be released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam in 3D format on the same day. The film's music is scored by Mani Sharma, the cinematography is handled by Sekhar V. Joseph and Prawin Pudi looks after the film editing aspect.
