Their aspirations finally materialised with the adaptation of Kazi Anwar Hossain's 1966 novel ‘Dhongsho Pahar’, titled ‘MR-9: Do or Die’. Directed by Asif Akbar and produced under the banner of Jazz Multimedia and Avel Entertainment, the film stars ABM Suman as Masud Rana.
The movie is expected to be released in both Bangla and English languages and will also hit theatres in Kolkata, India. Following its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this year, Premiere Entertainment is working on a worldwide release for the film.
