The Walton-Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) six-a-side Media Football Tournament advanced to the quarterfinal stage on the 4th day of the meet at the Shaheed (Capt) M.Monsur Ali National Handball Stadium here on Sunday. The quarterfinalists teams are: Ekattor TV, ATN News, Channei i, Banglavision, ATN Bangla, Deepto TV, Inqilab and NTV. Walton-DRU Media Football advances to round 16 Eight teams which will play in the quarterfinals on Monday are: Ekattor TV vs ATN News (9:00 am) ; Channei i vs Banglavision (9:30 am) ; ATN Bangla vs Deepto TV (10:00 am) and Inqilab vs NTV (10:30 am). In the day's pre-quarterfinals, ATN News outplayed My TV by 3-0 goal, Ekattor TV overcame Amader Shomoy by 3-2 goal, Inqilab beat Dhaka Post by 4-3 goal in tie breaker, Banglavision beat Bhorer Kagoj by 2-0 goal; holders Channel i crushed World Cup Qualifiers: Argentina maintain winning start, Brazil stumble against Venezuela Jugantor by 4-0 goal, ATN Bangla beat Bangladesh Pratidin by 2-0 goal in tie breaker, Deepto TV eliminated last time runners up Jagonews by 2-1 goal in tie breaker while NTV beat Jamuna Television by 3-1 goas also in the tie breaker. Journalists from 50  media houses including defending champions Channel i and runners-up Jagonews 24.com,  from different newspapers, news agencies and electronics media are taking part in the tournament.
