Police recovered 10 bomb-like objects from a field, 20-feet away from Baniakandi Government Primary School polling centre in Kumarkhali upazila of Kushtia district on Wednesday. Jamal Uddin, Officer-in-Charge of Kumarkhali Police Station, said local people spotted two bags on the field and informed police. On information, police, Rab, Army personnel rushed to the spot and recovered the bomb-like objects wrapped with red scotch taps from the two bags. Later those were taken to the police station.  

Police recovered two crude bombs from a toilet of Dhaka University's Arts Faculty building on Monday (November 06, 2023) morning.  A bomb disposal unit of police recovered those from the toilet of 1106 No classroom of Arts building around 10.40 am.  Read: 48-hour blockade: Two buses set ablaze in Gazipur Md. Ali Hossen, gateman of the Arts Building, said he noticed those two bomb-like objects around 10 am and immediately informed it to the proctor office. Assistant proctor Prof Hasan Faruk confirmed the matter.
