Largest Ever Prize Pool for an Esports Event
The esports tournament in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will feature a $60 million prize pool, making it one of the biggest events in 2024. It includes 19 top esports titles and a Club Championship. The MVP of each competition will receive $50,000. Over $7 million is allocated to global qualifiers, while $20 million is reserved for the Club Championship, where esports organizations compete across various games for the top prize. The largest part of the prize pool goes to Game Championships, with major tournaments like Dota 2’s Riyadh Masters, Counter-Strike, Rocket League, League of Legends, and others.
What is The Club Championship?
This tournament is unique because it involves multi-game competitions where each club can compete in several games. The best-performing club across all games will be crowned the world’s first Esports World Cup Club Champion. The $20 million prize will be shared among the top sixteen clubs based on their performance.

List of Games Featured in Esports World Cup 2024
Apex Legends
The Apex Legends tournament at the 2024 Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia features a $2 million prize pool. It runs from July 31 to August 4, with 32 top-tier teams—invited and qualified—competing. The format includes a Group Stage with two groups of twenty teams, where the top nine from each group advance to the Finals, while 10th-19th place teams fight in an LCQ for the remaining spots.
Counter-Strike
The Counter-Strike 2 competition at the 2024 Esports World Cup in Riyadh takes place from July 17 to 21, with 15 teams vying for a $1 million prize pool. Teams include invitees like Team Spirit and Natus Vincere, top ESL-ranked teams such as G2 Esports, FaZe Clan, and MOUZ, plus regional qualifiers MIBR, FlyQuest, The MongolZ, and JijieHao.
Dota 2
The 2024 Riyadh Masters for Dota 2, part of the Esports World Cup, occurs in July, featuring 20 teams competing for a $5 million prize pool. Teams will qualify via the ESL Pro Tour Leaderboard and regional qualifiers. Notable participants include Team Liquid, Team Falcons, and BetBoom Team. This high-stakes tournament promises intense competition among the world's best Dota 2 teams.
EA FC 2024
The EA FC 24 tournament at the 2024 Esports World Cup runs from July 3 to August 25 in Riyadh, featuring qualifiers at DreamHack Dallas and DreamHack Summer in Sweden. Top players also receive direct invites. This standalone event, separate from the EA FC Pro ecosystem, has yet to finalize its format and prize pool details.

Fortnite
The gaming community has long hoped for the return of the Fortnite World Cup after its exciting debut with over $30 million in prizes. Now, being part of the Esports World Cup, it's the closest to the original event. Last year at Gamers8, 44 duos competed for a $2 million prize pool. Returning to Riyadh Boulevard in 2024 will be a prime opportunity for Fortnite betting.
Rainbow Six Siege
The Esports World Cup announced on social media that Rainbow Six Siege will be included, offering a big chance for Rainbow Six betting. Last year, at Gamers8, the R6S tournament featured the top 8 teams worldwide and had a $2 million prize pool. As the tournament approaches, more details will be shared.
