Bangladeshi athlete Al Amin clinched the gold medal in the 3000- metre steeplechase event of the Malaysian Invitational Open Athletics Championship 2024 held at the Stadium Darul Makmur in Pahang, Malaysia on Saturday. Al Amin brought laurel for the country by winning the event's gold medal with a timing of 9:32.39 seconds.
