Mohammad Atiqul Islam, former mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), was arrested in the capital on Wednesday. A team of Mohammadpur police arrested him from Mohakhali DOHS area in the evening, said Deputy Commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Talebur Rahman.
