Apple set to introduce Truecaller-like ID service for businesses
Apple is gearing up to introduce a new feature, potentially named Business Caller ID, early next year, designed to improve both user experience and security. Similar to Truecaller, this service will allow businesses to display their verified name, logo, and department information during calls, helping users instantly identify who’s contacting them.
As part of the Apple Business Connect platform, this feature gives businesses more control over how they are presented across multiple Apple services like Maps, Messages, Siri, and Wallet. By registering their information, companies can ensure consistent branding and communication throughout the Apple ecosystem.

David Dorn, Apple’s Senior Director of Internet Software and Services Product, said that the feature was developed to provide relevant and accurate information to users, allowing businesses to showcase the correct details to enhance engagement and grow their presence across Apple’s services.
This move is seen as part of Apple’s continuous push to enhance both user security and the overall customer-business interaction experience. With this feature, businesses will gain a direct channel to deliver verified and trusted information to millions of Apple users globally, reinforcing brand trust and improving communication.
This caller ID feature could transform the way businesses connect with customers, much like Truecaller has done, but with Apple’s signature ecosystem integration.
