Illegal foreigners to face action after Jan 31: Home Adviser
Legal steps will be taken against foreign nationals who will stay in Bangladesh without valid documents after January 31, Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said.
The Home Adviser came up with the information while speaking at a press briefing at the Secretariat held over the DG-level border conference between India and Bangladesh.
Visa determines the time of stay in any country and if someone overstays, he/she has to pay a fine, he said.
