The event became a mini reunion for ‘Pushpa’ co-stars, as Allu Arjun joined their reception. In the hit film, Allu Arjun and Rashmika played on-screen lovers who eventually married, making their appearance together a treat for fans. Rashmika looked stunning in a traditional red saree with gold and black borders, while Vijay opted for a simple white kurta and dhoti. Allu Arjun chose a loose-fit kurta with geometric stripes and floral patterns. Other notable attendees included Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Neena Gupta, Namrata Shirodkar, and Nani. The couple had their official wedding on February 26 at ITC Mementos, Udaipur, celebrating both their cultures with a Telugu Hindu ceremony in the morning and a Kodava ritual in the evening. Rashmika and Vijay later shared pictures from their wedding on Instagram, with heartfelt messages about their journey together. Vijay described his bride as his “home and calm,” while Rashmika introduced him as the man who “taught her what true love feels like.” Fans also have something to look forward to, as the duo is set to reunite on-screen in Rahul Sankrityan’s upcoming film ‘Ranabaali’. Rumors also hint that the story may involve the concept of parallel universes. However, none of these details have been officially confirmed by the filmmakers. Project Highlights Anticipation around AA22 X A6 has been steadily building. In June, the production team officially announced that Deepika Padukone had joined the cast. A video shared by Sun Pictures showed director Atlee narrating the script to Deepika and featured scenes of her motion capture shoot. The footage hinted at her playing a regal, warrior-like character, possibly a queen, riding a horse and brandishing a sword. Billed as a groundbreaking venture in Indian cinema, the film is noted for its scale and innovation. An earlier promotional video revealed some of the international talent involved in the project. VFX expert James Madigan, known for Iron Man 2 and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, commented, “I just finished reading the script, and my head is still spinning.” In the same clip, Allu Arjun is seen discussing the script with Mike Elizalde, President of Spectral Motion, who called it “the best of the best of what I would ever want to create.” Academy Award-winner Justin Raleigh, CEO of Fractured FX, shared his enthusiasm: “There’s so much potential here with the creatures and characters.” William Write Anderson of Lola VFX added, “I’m thrilled to be involved — the story is just unbelievable.” Source NDTV      

Popular actor in southern India Allu Arjun was released from jail on bail on Saturday, a day after he was arrested by police in connection with a stampede that led to the death of a woman at the premiere of his movie earlier this month. A 35-year-old woman died and her 8-year-old son was critically injured in the stampede, which occurred during the screening of Arjun’s release for “Pushpa 2: The Rule” in southern Telangana state's Hyderabad city on Dec. 4. Arjun was arrested after the woman’s husband filed a case against him, his security team and the theater's management for not informing police of the actor’s plan to attend the screening, which resulted in a larger-than-expected crowd. Police charged the actor, his security team and the theater’s management staff with culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Police have already arrested the theater’s owner and two of his employees in connection with the case. Allu Arjun arrested over woman’s death at 'Pushpa 2' Screening A local court on Friday ordered the actor to spend 14 days in jail, but within hours the Telangana High Court granted him bail. However, the actor had to spend the night in jail because prison authorities did not receive a copy of the bail until late Friday, the Press Trust of India reported. The accident happened after the 41-year-old actor made a surprise appearance at a local theater where the movie was being screened. As his fans surged toward the venue, the theater’s main gate collapsed, resulting in the stampede. The actor did not comment on the police charges or his arrest. But shortly after the accident, Arjun wrote on the social platform X that he was “heartbroken by the tragic incident.” He later announced financial assistance of $29,000 for the woman’s family and promised to take care of the medical expenses for her injured son.  

South Indian superstar Allu Arjun was arrested on Friday in connection with a stampede that occurred outside Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre on December 3. The incident, which claimed the life of a woman, took place during an unscheduled appearance by the actor at the screening of his much-anticipated film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, reports NDTV. Atlee, Salman to collaborate on high-budget action thriller Allu Arjun was taken into custody from his residence in Jubilee Hills and transported to the Chikkadpally Police Station in presence of his father, prominent filmmaker Allu Arvind, and other family members, the report said. Following the arrest, the 41-year-old actor filed a petition seeking a postponement of his detention until Monday. A hearing on the petition is scheduled for 2:30 pm on Friday.
