A Russian worker was found dead in a washroom of the residential Green City of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project in Pabna, police said on Friday. The deceased Ivan Kaitmazov (40) was employed at the power plant as an electric circuit installer with the project’s Skem Company, said Inspector (Investigation) Monirul Islam of Ishwardi Police Station. A Russian woman working at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant project in Ishwardi reportedly killed herself early Saturday after jumping from the fourth floor of a residential building in Green City. The deceased, identified as Poshtaruk Ksenii, was an employee of SMU-1, a company involved in the power plant's construction. Police said the incident took place around 4 am in flat 42 of building 9, part of the Green City residential complex for project staff.
