Removal of fascists from parliament, politics recommended: Badiul Alam
Electoral Reform Commission chief Dr Badiul Alam Majudar has said that a recommendation has been made not to allow fascists in parliament and politics.
"Our political landscape must be free from miscreants," he said while speaking at a seminar held at the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) on Saturday.
Dr Majumdar also emphasised that autocratic fascists must be prevented from reclaiming seats in parliament, and the political arena must undergo a thorough cleansing.

"Those miscreants who have killed people, who have committed extrajudicial killings, who have oppressed and tortured others in various ways, and who have committed crimes against humanity must not be included in any political party. They must not play a role in politics anymore," he added.
Cumilla Bachao Mancha organised the event to evaluate and approve ‘Dream Megacity Cumilla and AHK Satellite City’.
Former MP and adviser to the BNP Chairperson Monirul Haque Chowdhury, Supreme Court Lawyer Barrister Abdullah Al Mamun, Additional Director General of BARD Dr. Abdul Karim, Executive Officer of the District Council Nazrul Islam, among others, attended the event.
