The High Court on Monday fixed February 22 for hearing the rule issued challenging the legality of Mohammad Shahid Islam Papul’s MP post.

The High Court on Thursday ordered the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to provide Tk 20 lakh as compensation to Arman, who has been in jail for four years instead of real convict Shahabuddin Bihari, within 30 days.

The High Court on Sunday sought information on money launderers it termed as “national traitors” and “enemies of the state” who should be brought to book.

The High Court on Monday directed the authorities concerned to submit a report on the mismanagement of traffic signal monitoring system in the capital within 30 days.
