Police have detained two youths in Magura Sadar upazila for allegedly abducting and raping a girl with speech impairment. The detainees are Shaon Sheikh, 25, and Tipu Sheikh, 30.  Locals lay siege to police station protesting killing of madrasah teacher in Narsingdi According to the case statement, the 16-year-old victim was walking on a road alone in Nal-Nagar village on Friday noon. The accused took her to a nearby jute field and raped her. Later, her family members found injured when she returned home, according to the case statement.  Later, the victim’s family filed a case against the duo with Sadar Police Station, said officer-in-charge Ayub Ali, adding that they were detained from the village on Monday.  2 sentenced to death for killing human hauler driver in Narail in 2020 The accused were later produced before a Magura court, which ordered their imprisonment.
