Four bikers killed in separate road accidents
Four bikers were killed in two separate road accidents in Bogura and Rajshahi on Friday, police said.
In Bogura, a biker and his pillion rider were killed when a bus hit their motorcycle at Sherpur upazila in Bogura on Friday morning.
The deceased were identified as Fazar Ali Khaja, 42, and Belal Hossain, 52, of the upazila.
The accident occurred when a bus hit the motorcycle on Simabari-Ranihat regional road in Jamnagar around 7am and fled the scene, leaving the riders of the motorcycle dead on spot, said Shahidul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) 0f Sherpur police station.
The bodies were handed over to their families, said the OC.
In Rajshahi, two youths were killed when a truck hit their bike in Godagari upazila on Friday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Ijaz Ahmed, 20, son of Mohammad Ali Bakul of Laxmipur area in Rajshahi city and Zahid Hossain, 20, of Pirijpur village in Godagari upazila.
The accident occurred around 3:00 pm when a Rajshahi-bound truck hit the bike, killing the biker and the pillion rider on the spot, said Kamrul Islam, officer-in-charge of Godagari Model Police Station.
The bodies will be handed over to their families after completing legal procedure, the OC added.
Police seized the truck from the spot. However, the driver and his assistant manage to flee the scene, he said.
