Thama / Romantic Horror / October 21, 2025
A new chapter to the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, ‘Thama’ boasts Aditya Sarpotdar as its director. Niren Bhatt, Arun Falara, and Suresh Mathew oversee the script. As the fifth entry, it threads new folklore into a franchise already linked by Stree and Bhediya.
At its centre is a historian who pores over brittle manuscripts, searching for evidence behind whispered tales of vampires in Vijay Nagar. His pursuit draws him into a wider mystery, one that hints at an ancient connection running through the other stories.
Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana lead a cast that also includes Sanjay Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shreyas Talpade, and Vijay Raaz. Varun Dhawan drops by in a cameo as Bhaskar, while Malaika Arora and Nora Fatehi make special appearances in the songs.
The music, by Sachin–Jigar, keeps a playful edge as the film balances scares and sly humour.
