Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman Andaleeve Rahman Partho has won the Bhola-1 constituency in the 13th national election by a significant margin. He secured 104,462 votes with the party’s ‘Bullock Cart’ symbol. His nearest rival, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Principal Nazrul Islam, received 73,773 votes with the ‘Scale’ symbol. In the key district seat, Islami Andolan candidate Maulana Obaidur Rahman polled 25,092 votes with the ‘Hand Fan’ symbol.
