NOVOAIR, one of the country’s private airlines, has announced an increase in flight frequency on the Chattogram route to meet passenger demand and enhance travel convenience. The new flight will commence operations on January 26, according to a press release issued on Wednesday. NOVOAIR currently operates one daily flight on the Chattogram route. The existing flight departs from Dhaka at 1:15 pm for Chattogram and returns from Chattogram to Dhaka at 2:40 pm. The newly introduced flight will operate every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, departing from Dhaka at 4:15 pm for Chattogram and returning from Chattogram to Dhaka at 5:40 pm. Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director of NOVOAIR, said that Chattogram is one of the country’s most important commercial and tourism hubs. “Considering the increasing passenger demand and the need for greater travel flexibility, we have decided to increase the number of flights on this route,” he said. NOVOAIR currently operates daily flights to Chattogram, as well as to Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, and Saidpur.
