The Amar Ekushey Book Fair is witnessing a growing number of visitors every day. Booklovers from around the city and even outside are thronging the fairgrounds spanned from Bangla Academy premises to nearby Suhrawardy Uddyan.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday stressed the need for more translations of Bangla literature as her government wants to spread it across the world.

Preparations for holding the annual Amar Ekushey book fair, the largest and most popular book fair in the country, on the Bangla Academy premises and the adjacent areas are going on in full swing.
