A seven-member Turkish election observer team paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Monday. The meeting was held at the State Guest House Jamuna, where the delegation was led by Mehmet Akif Yilmaz, chairperson of the Turkey-Bangladesh Parliamentary Friendship Group and a member of the Turkish Parliament. During the meeting, they discussed issues related to the election process and mutual cooperation, officials said. Chief Adviser’s Office Chief Coordinator for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Lamiya Morshed and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also present at the meeting.
