Satkhira District clinched the Chitra zone title of the Bangabandhu National Football Championship beating hosts Barisal District by 1-0 goal at the Abdur Rab Serniabad Stadium in Barisal on Tuesday.

The finals of three zones of the ongoing Bangabandhu National Football Championship’2020 will be held across the country on Saturday.

The zonal finals of the ongoing Bangabandhu National Football Championship’2020 will begin across the country on Friday.   A total of 16 teams from four zones will lock-horn in the double-leg basis Cup and Plate finals.     In the Cup finals, Narayanganj will play Cumilla in the first-leg of Padma zone at 3pm in Shaheed Dhirendranath Stadium of Cumilla, Kushtia will play Pabna in the first-leg of Shitalakshya zone at 3pm in the Kushtia District Stadium, Chattogram will play Cox's Bazar in the first-leg of Jamuna zone at 3pm in MA Aziz Stadium of Chattogram and hosts Netrakona will play Sherpur in the first-leg of Meghna zone at 3pm in Netrokona District Stadium.   In the Plate finals, hosts Shariatpur will play against Rajbari in the first-leg of Padma zone at 3pm at the Bir Shreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Stadium, Naogaon will face Joypurhat in the first-leg of Shitalakshya zone at 3pm in the Naogaon District Stadium, Rangamati to play Noakhali in the first-leg of Jamuna zone at 3pm in Rangamati District Stadium and Mymensingh will face Tangail in the first-leg of Meghna zone at 3pm in the Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium of Mymensingh.

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) outplayed Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) by 7-1 goals in the Bangabandhu National Football Championship at the Kamalpur Stadium here on Sunday.
